About Course
Introduces students to the foundations of U.S. immigration law and policy. The course explores the statutory and constitutional framework governing the admission, exclusion, and removal of noncitizens, as well as the rights and responsibilities of immigrants once inside the United States. Students will examine the role of federal agencies, the immigration courts, and the interaction between immigration law, constitutional law, and international human rights principles.
